the models have just emerged from a smoldering fire. Don’t get me wrong, I love the designs, but they are a little “chimney-sweep couture.”
Cook has many of the seasons trends covered; lace, leggings, sheer and tie-dyed fabrics. The minis are fun, layered and slightly goth. I particularly like the gold dress, with loads of beaded fringe and lace.
Perhaps with plain black leggings the dresses could stand their own ground; they are very flirty.via

Patrick Dempsey, who came second in People magazine’s 2007 ‘Sexiest Man Alive’ list, has been named the new face of the spring/summer line of Versace. Now you can just call him ... McFashionista.
The “Grey’s Anatomy” heartthrob, who’s been nicknamed ‘Dr. McDreamy’, was photographed last month for the ad campaign by reputed fashion photographer Mario Testino.
For Donatella Versace, Versace’s design head, Dempsey fitted the new fashion line ‘hand in glove’.
“Patrick represents everything that is great about this collection — he has that confidence, he is completely comfortable in his own skin, which is so attractive. He is the modern man of today and of course looks fantastic in the clothes,” she said. “I’m a big fan. So it was a great experience working with him because he is such a talented actor.”
Dempsey didn’t hide his excitement about his new role either.
“I was thrilled to be asked to be the face of the Versace Men’s campaign,” he said. “It was so lovely to work with Donatella Versace, she is an iconic and inspirational woman and a wonderful person, not to mention what a pleasure it was to work with Mario Testino too, one of the world’s finest photographers.”
The choice of Dempsey to represent Versace’s new collection comes at a time when Donatella Versace is moving away from the company’s old image of flash and glitz to a more wearable look.
The Versace print ads featuring Dempsey will begin circulating in magazines in February 2008.via
